The area has a lot of mosquitos especially in summer but our walls are treated to minimize the bugs coming inside. The area has become more Malaria prone but as long as you take precautions such as using anti mosquito sprays or sticks, wearing long sleeves and pants around 5-6pm it will minimize the chance of getting bitten.
The house is designed and positioned in such a way that when the windows and double doors are opened the breeze cools down the living areas in the house.
There is WIFI at the guest house and a computer and printer that you can use.
We have two verandas – the front veranda faces the gorgeous view of the bush and Nelspruit skyline where you can sit and enjoy a sundowner or a typical South African meal such as a braai or Potjie.
The back veranda looks onto the heated pool so you can enjoy swimming all year round especially with our mild winters.
The kitchen is available for our guests to make tea /coffee any time they like. There is always ice cold filtered water available and we have an honesty bar with iced cold drinks.
A big screen TV with DSTV is situated in the main living area which offers a variety of local and international channels.
South African cuisine is a unique fusion of many different external cultural influences. These include Dutch, French, Indian and Malaysian flavours and techniques. At Isenzo, we offer a variety of typical South African meals such as Potjiekos which is slow cooked for hours in a big black pot over charcoal fire or a typical South African braai (barbeque) or babotie to name a few. If you have special dietary requirements then please let us know so that we can cater for you.
